We’re very
pleased to announce that our new library at Runcorn is open for business. As a result of a £750,000 makeover, the library
has new furniture including mobile shelving and self-service machines. We’ve also provided 10 computers and wi-fi
internet access. The library will work
with co-tenants, Halton Direct Link, to provide information and leisure
services.
Although we
were sorry to leave to the beautiful old building, it wasn’t suitable for the
refurbishment to provide access for wheelchair users. Our new single-level
premises are closer to town and we can now offer a meeting space and specially
designed teenage and children’s areas.

visit us soon to see what we can offer.
Our opening hours are the same and even when we’re closed you can
experience Runcorn’s heritage from the outside on our beautiful heritage mural.
